My kindle decided for me. As it broke out, I was practically forced to abandon reading the last (third) volume from this historical novel. But I have an overall idea about it. I can even try and guess the ending as it is not too hard to imagine. The historical piece gets resolved for the Poles (I know it from Wiki), while the main characters... Personally, I believe that Sienkiewicz is one of the best authors in Polish history of literature.Even though the structure of the book may seem repellent at the beginning, it is worth to go to the same end. Potop has a difficult and well elaborated poetic language. The book provides great descriptions of the setting that fire up imagination.... This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
